Twin Rivers Technologies operates a 2.7-mile-long rail line that runs directly from our facility in Quincy to CSX access Braintree. The Fore River Railroad is owned by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and operated under contract by Fore River Transportation. The rail line runs from Quincy Point to the Greenbush Commuter Line and CSX Line in Braintree, MA. Twin Rivers Technologies owns two GE V23-7 diesel locomotive engines primarily ship fatty acids, glycerin, and vegetable oils to and from the CSX connection in Braintree.
