Oleic Fatty Acids
Oleic acid is an unsaturated fatty acid that is the most widely distributed and abundant fatty acid in nature, occurring naturally in various animal and vegetable fats and oils. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a mild odor. Oleic Acid is used in the manufacturing of surfactants, soaps, plasticizers and as an emulsifying agent in foods and pharmaceuticals.
As part of our commitment to the North American oleochemical and naturally based specialty chemical industry, Twin Rivers has employed several grass roots expansions that include adding oleic acid separation capabilities to our Quincy, MA manufacturing facility.
