Vegetable based stearic acid is a fatty acid found in vegetable fats. It is used in a variety of cosmetics and personal care products, in fragrances, and as a surfactant or emulsifier.

Palmitic acid is the most common saturated fatty acid and is found naturally in palm oil and palm kernel oil. It is also a component in soaps, cosmetics and in a wide range of uses in manufacturing and other applications.
